Research Associates wanted at Management Centre for Human Development (MCHD), a Unit of Prof Shitangshu Kumar Chakraborty Memorial Trust.The Centre aspires to expand the ongoing efforts to carry forward the legacy of Prof. Chakraborty and achieve specific objectives of the Trust through research-based training and structured academic programmes.
We are looking for dedicated Research Associates in Values Based Management to join our team at MCHD.As a research associate you will contribute towards carrying out Research and Training in the Management of Self and Organisations by incorporating Quality Mind Process, Human Values, Ethics, Stress Control, Ecology, Creativity, Sustainability and Leadership, with a focus on Indian Ethos
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research and training programmes
-
Publish at least two papers in refereed journals and a monograph each year independently or under a co-author, as approved by the Director (Academic).

Participate in academic administration and institution building
-
Organize, assist and teach in training programmes under Programme Directors.

Requirements:

Age Limit: Within 30 years
-
PhD or registered for PhD with publication/s in the relevant areas
-
Excellent command over English; knowledge of Sanskrit/Pali is a plus
-
Outstanding candidates with Post Graduate degrees, with a genuine interest in this field, are also invited to apply.

Fair knowledge of Research Methodology, Computer fundamentals including MSOffice Suite and preferably that of SPSS

The Topic : “The Relevance of Buddha’s Teachings in Contemporary Times”
The Speaker :
Prof. Dr. Subhas Chandra Saha is the former Vice-Chancellor of three universities: 1) Assam (Central) University, 2) Rajiv Gandhi (State) University and 3) Pragya International (Private) University. He has been a Professor of British and World Literatures in English for about thirty-five years. He is also the former Professor and Director of the School of Management Sciences in the Bengal Engineering and Science University (at present, Indian Institute of Engineering, Science and Technology). Currently he is engaged in Buddhist Studies. He has published several books and research papers on Buddha and Buddhism. He is the former editor of Mahabodhi journal and the Head of the Publication and Media Division of Mahabodhi Society of India.
